Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) (R0703)

The LANCOM Management Cloud enables our customers to setup and monitor tens, hundreds, or thousands of LANCOM network devices. Using the latest technologies for modern cloud-based web applications, we work in agile, cross-functional teams to build software that makes network administrators’ lives easier.

And that’s where you come in! As a Senior Backend Developer in the Business Processes and Asset Management area, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling partner growth and development. Our mission is to deliver end-to-end value to customers by empowering them to gather actionable insights on their devices, licenses, and billing, while efficiently managing customer projects through our LANCOM Management Cloud.

Current and upcoming projects we are working on are:

Digital Transformation: Streamlining LANCOM billing processes through automated license usage information and reporting.
Lifecycle Management: Implementing device model lifecycle information in the LMC, including end-of-sales and end-of-support notifications to encourage hardware renewals.
Device Licensing Integration: Expanding the LMC to become a “one-stop shop” with Unified Firewall licensing capabilities.
MSP Enablement: Extending workflows to support Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with aggregated project data, license status, and device lifecycle information.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced Java proficiency (Java 17+) and deep understanding of the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data)
- Solid experience designing, implementing, and maintaining microservice architectures, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong commitment to test automation (unit testing, integration testing, testing frameworks)
- Experience with modern deployment pipelines and automation tools
- Advocacy for clear interfaces and modularized software
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Efficient communication skills in English
Ability to read German and follow conversations
